Janet Jackson Cancels Montreal Concert

After learning that boyfriend Jermain Dupri puked all over Janet Jackson during his birthday party last week, I figured it wasn't because he was terribly inebriated but rather that he couldn't control it because he was actually sick.

Turn out I was right, like usual, and now the sickness has spread to Janet Jackson who had to cancel her concert in Montreal on September 29, 2008 and be rushed to the hospital for treatment.

What was stupid about the whole scene was that producers of the show allowed for the stage setup and let al the fans in, leaving them waiting, only to cancel the concert a while later. I mean, it's not as if Janet Jackson's illness was sudden - the idiots knew she was sick.

Hopefully Janet Jackson is feeling better and she'll continue her fan seducing concert in no time.

Paul Newman Died

Paul Newman died at his home on Friday September 26, 2008, at 83 years old. I know that most of you remember Paul as the old guy in The Color of Money and the guy whose face is on salad dressing bottles, but Paul Newman was a gorgeous specimen in his heyday.

He ultimately lost his battle with cancer, but Paul Newman did have a plentiful career and was also married to the same woman for over 50 years. He earned 10 Oscar awards and has starred in well over 65 movies.

He will be remembered as one of the greats in Hollywood because he never acted out or gave the pappos a reason to delve into his personal life. He truly was a star.

I'm not a big fan of politics in general, but I do love David Letterman, and on September 24, 2008, he ripped into John McCain for canceling an appearance on his show at the very last minute. Apparently, John McCain had "suspended his campaign" in order to deal with the financial mess that the US is currently in.

But what David Letterman discovered is that, being the liar that he is, John McCain was actually across the street at Katie Couric's studio doing an interview with her. Wow, what an idiot. John McCain really is an old fool and he just did some serious damage. I think we should have him impeached.

Anyway, David Letterman called him on it and, I must say, this is one of the many, many reasons why I love David Letterman.

Wow, not only it is a complete shock to hear that Blink-182's Travis Parker and DJ AM were in a plane crash and survived, but it's even freakier that the other four people aboard the plane perished.

The plane was emitting sparks just after take off and on Friday September 19, 2008, and the plane went off the runway and crashed into a nearby road. Travis Barker and DJ AM were listed in critical condition after the plane crash but the two are expected to survive despite some severe burns.

Josh Groban Emmy Awards Performance

Personally, Josh Groban reminds me of one of the characters from The Lord of the Rings, but last night's Emmy Awards performance left me with a new respect for Josh Groban... the boy can put on a decent performance.
